Account Groups

If there are many accounts in a model (> 1,000) that are all allowed to see the same large number of data sheets (> 1,000), the rights management can slow down the system. In this case, it makes sense to outsource the group management to the account management instead of using connections.

Create groups

A new group can be created by clicking on the plus icon.

Here you define from which group node the rights of the group will be calculated, what the name of the group will be, and what type of connection is associated with this group. This connection type is important if you want to convert existing connections into group memberships and if you want to use ConnectionButtons to maintain the group memberships.
